The IdeaA concierge medical practice returns to a service model in which healthcare providers are able to provide personalized, exceptional care and know all of their patients by name. We take care of fewer patients which allows more time to fully meet their needs. This type of healthcare is ideally suited to provide ongoing primary care to infants, children, and adolescents. The concept for the practice was a team effort. Tired of the continuous cycle of eight minute office visits, crowded waiting rooms with long wait times, and patients unable to see their provider, I dreamed of a better way of providing care for my patients. After consulting with leaders in the field of concierge medicine, as well as family, friends, and patient families, I created Premier Pediatrics and Wellness.
We also offer medical acupuncture to both children and adults at Premier Pediatrics and Wellness. I was inspired to learn acupuncture to help several of my teenage patients who suffered with chronic migraine headaches that were refractory to traditional western medical treatments. I completed 300 credit hours at Harvard Medical School Department of Continuing Education in 2014-2015. Acupuncture takes a whole-body approach to health and works to restore the balance and flow of the body’s vital energy, called qi. Our goal is to help patients achieve their best health using both eastern and western medicine!
Dr. Jennifer Liles
Born and raised in Henderson, KY, it has always been my dream to return home and serve my fellow Hendersonians. I remember first telling my parents that I wanted to be a doctor when I was about 6 years old…and of course, it was while I was performing physical exams on all of my baby dolls! With steadfast determination and a lot of support from family and friends, my dream became a reality.
I graduated medical school in 2008 from the University of Kentucky. From there, I moved to Columbia, SC to complete my pediatric internship and residency at Palmetto Health Richland Pediatric Hospital. I will always cherish my time in South Carolina because the knowledge I gained coupled with the extraordinary people I worked with have shaped the physician I am today. In 2011, I returned home to practice pediatrics. I worked alongside some wonderful pediatricians and nurse practitioners. Thank you all for everything you taught me along the way! My true calling was realized in 2017 with the opening of Premier Pediatrics and Wellness.
